Create a 6- to 12-slide
presentation.
Assume you are a tax accountant
for a small regional firm. The Local League of Women voters has asked you to
speak at their next meeting. They have enjoyed several past presentations
regarding taxes, but are confused as to filing status. They want you to provide
a detailed presentation as to filing status allowed per the 1040 Form.
List and describe each
of the filing status’ listed on the front of the 1040 Form (lines 1-5) and
presented in McGraw- Hill’s Essentials of Federal Taxation (pp.
4-19 through 4-24).
Include the Flowchart from pp.
4-30, Appendix C “Determination of Filing Status Flowchart” in your
presentation.

Note. Grades are awarded based
upon individual contributions to the Learning Team assignment. Each Learning
Team member receives a grade based upon his/her contributions to the team
