Research the business culture of
the country you selected and some companies that do business there.
Imagine you are the HR team for a
U.S. company that will open its office/manufacturing operation in the country
you selected. Senior management has not revised its expatriate program in a few
years and has asked you to present a new framework for the company’s program,
including:
- Criteria companies usually consider in selecting expatriates
- Recommendations for the content of cross-cultural training
for the host and home country employees who will be on assignment in the
host country
- Strategies managers and team leaders should consider to
develop effective and efficient international work teams
Create a 12- to 15-slide
Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation of your findings (excluding the title slide
and references) with speaker notes. Use citations in the slides/speaker notes
and references on a separate slide at the end of the presentation in APA style.
